What is this?
The road to utopia is paved with a hunger for uniformity. Yet it’s the imperfect unknown where wonder and opportunity await. To clarify the way we think about ourselves and the world, we must engage each other with genuine curiosity and good-faith pushback rather than fear and derision. We must be willing to be wrong, build bridges, open doors, and shine a light. This is my little lighthouse.
What’s in it for you?
If you’re here, I’m assuming we share some interests. No doubt one of them is reading about things from a diverse set of viewpoints. But I know time is scarce. So every week, I put together a digest of articles that cuts through commonplace ideas to explore questions that may unnerve us but also expand our perspective.
What do I focus on?
Narratives, echo chambers, and perception gaps
Language distortions, false dichotomies, and double standards
Scientism, consensus, orthodoxy, and self-censorship
Emotional appeals, witch-hunts, and bully activism
Identitarian power dynamics, moral authority, and poetic truth
